David Brushwood

David Brushwood, R.Ph., J.D.

David Brushwood attended pharmacy school and law school at the University of Kansas. He is Professor Emeritus of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the University of Florida, having retired from that position in 2014 after 25 years. Professor Brushwood is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wyoming, where he teaches online courses in the Master of Science in Health Services Administration program. He contributes a monthly column called “On The Docket” to the journal “Pharmacy Today,” an official publication of the American Pharmacists Association. Professor Brushwood also provides content for continuing education programs and advanced skill badges in specialty areas of pharmacy law for CEimpact. David and his wife Chris recently moved from Florida to Wenatchee, WA, so that they can be nearer to their children and grandchildren who are located in the Northwest. They enjoy the Washington wine country, exploring the outdoors, and the proximity to Glacier National Park.



Elliott M. Sogol

Elliott M. Sogol, PhD, RPh, FAPhA

Elliott M. Sogol currently serves as the Director for Postgraduate Education and Continuing Education at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. His responsibilities include directing the Master of Science in Health Services Administration program, an on-line program with over 50 students from across the US and Canada, that provides 18 different educational tracks. In addition, he teaches courses in leadership and economics as well as directs a seminar each semester and oversees the final applied research course for all students in the program. He has responsibility for ACPE approved continuing education programs offered through the University. Mr. Sogol also has responsibilities to foster collaborative relationships with other departments within the University and externally to the University regarding professional educational program development and collaboration with other groups such as medicine, nursing, and other allied health professions.Mr. Sogol was recognized for his contributions to the profession with Fellow Status for the American Pharmacists Association in 2003. He was also recognized as the Linwood F. Tice Friend of the Academy of Students of Pharmacy Award 1996. Mr. Sogol received the Mabel Powell Excellence in Online Course Design Certificate in 2018.

He received his professional and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin – School of Pharmacy. He and his wife Lori reside in Hillsborough, North Carolina.


Jeremy Vandiver

Jeremy Vandiver, PharmD, BCPS

Jeremy Vandiver is a Clinical Associate Professor and Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Department within the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. He practices as an inpatient clinical pharmacist with the Saint Joseph Family Medicine Residency Program at Saint Joseph Hospital, located in Denver, CO. Jeremy graduated with a PharmD from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy before completing a PGY1 and PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Residency in Internal Medicine in Denver. He has a history of leader service locally within the University of Wyoming, regionally with the Colorado Pharmacists Society, and nationally within AACP and ASHP. His non-academic interests include spending time with his wife, 8 year-old daughter, and two rambunctious Siberian huskies.
